Jackson Hise scores Top-5 finish with Hell Tour at Wayne County Speedway
Losing the first two events of the week to Mother Nature, Jackson Hise made his second run with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Butler Speedway (Quincy, Mich.) on Thursday afternoon to open up week five.
Starting up the week with 29 Late Models entered, Hise started 15th in the quick 30-lap feature and moved passed five competitors to secure a Top-10 finish.
As the field exploded to 53 entries at Crystal (Mich.) Motor Speedway on Friday, Jackson improved upon his previous outing by charging forward eight positions in the A-Main to land inside the Top-10 in eighth.
Proving to be the toughest racetrack of the week, Hise fell backwards in Saturday's $10,000-to-win feature at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) to finish 15th.
Wrapping up the weekend at Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio) on Sunday, Jackson recorded a career-best with the Hell Tour as he stormed forward from 15th in the 35-lap feature to score a Top-5 outing in fourth. He trailed Tyler Erb, Trey Mills, and Corey Conley while Nick Hoffman rounded out the Top-5.
Hise finished fourth in the week five point standings.
