Jackson Hise weathers rough night at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park with HTFSDS
Making the long haul to North Carolina, Jackson Hise followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon.
With a stacked 37-car field on hand, Hise found himself in a last chance qualifier and finished just one spot out of a transfer in fourth. Taking a provisional starting spot for the feature, Jackson was caught in a massive pileup on lap 10. Making four more laps around the track, Hise pulled in early and recorded a 19th-place finish.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
Hise is currently 11th in the HTFSDS point standings and first in the Rookie of the Year chase.
