Jackson Hise begins HTFSDS Rookie of the Year chase at Talladega Short Track
Losing Friday's opener to rain showers, Jackson Hise officially kicked off his Rookie of the Year chase with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the $15,000-to-win Bama Bash.
With 46 Late Models packed in the pits, Hise finished fifth in his heat race which relegated him to a Last Chance Race where he would nab the final A-Main transfer spot. Completing all 50-laps in the main event, Jackson brought home a 17th-place finish.
