Jackson Hise
Hise joins Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Golden Isles Speedway
On Thursday afternoon, Jackson Hise made the trip to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the Super Bowl of Racing.
Joined by 50 other Late Models at the track, Jackson found himself in a stacked group which relegated him to the first B-Main of the evening. Needing a Top-2 to make the feature, Hise pulled off early and recorded a DNF.
With Friday's event lost to heavy rain showers, Hise returned to the track on Saturday before jumping over the wall in qualifying. With too much damage sustained, Jackson called it a weekend.
Hise also competed in the 604 Late Model division but dealt with mechanical issues on Thursday which ended his weekend early.
